Wuvly is a private space for couples. Your chats, photos and answers are shared only with your partner. We never sell your data and we do not show ads.
1. Who we are
Wuvly ("Wuvly", "we", "us") is a mobile app made and operated by Rohan Ahmad, based in Pakistan. This policy explains what information Wuvly collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Questions: creaeza7@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, nickname, email address, birthday, profile photo and sign-in details from Google or email and password.
Content you share with your partner: messages, photos, voice notes, stickers, sketches, answers to daily questions, game answers, letters, lists, calendar events and journal entries.
Optional information you choose to share: your mood, your battery level, and your approximate location if you turn on long-distance mode. Each can be switched off in Settings.
Device and usage information: device model, operating system, app version, a notification token, crash reports and app activity such as screens opened and features used.
Purchase information: your subscription status and purchase token from Google Play. We never see or store your card or bank details.
3. How we use your information
To run Wuvly: pairing, chat, daily questions, games, widgets, reminders and notifications.
To sync your shared space with your partner's phone.
To process and verify Wuvly Premium subscriptions.
To keep Wuvly safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
To answer your support requests.
To understand which features people use, so we can improve the app.
4. Who we share information with
Your partner: only the content you share in your couple space, and optional mood, battery or location if you turn those on.
Service providers that run Wuvly for us: Google Firebase (sign-in, database, file storage, notifications, analytics and crash reports) and Google Play (payments and subscriptions). They process data only to provide their services to us.
Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. How we protect your information
Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers and is encrypted in transit and at rest. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Wuvly also offers an app lock and Private mode, which hides notifications, the app icon and widgets on your phone.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account is active.
If you unpair, your shared couple data is hidden at once and deleted after 30 days, unless you both re-pair.
If you delete your account, your profile is deleted immediately and your shared couple data within 30 days.
Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days and analytics data for up to 14 months, without your name or messages.
Records we must keep by law, such as subscription records for tax purposes, are kept only as long as required.
7. Your choices and rights
Edit your profile at any time in the app.
Turn off mood, battery or location sharing, and notifications, in Settings.
Ask for a copy of your data, or for corrections, by emailing creaeza7@gmail.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, or to object to how it is used. Email us to use any of these rights and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Age requirement
Wuvly is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 is using Wuvly, email us and we will delete the account.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including wherever Google operates its servers. We rely on Google's safeguards to protect data when it moves between countries.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Wuvly changes. We will update the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
