Delete your Wuvly account

You can delete your Wuvly account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by email.

Option 1: Delete in the app

  1. Open Wuvly and sign in.
  2. Tap Settings, then Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type the confirmation word and tap Delete.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app, email us from the address you used to sign up. Include your name and the words "Delete my Wuvly account".

We verify the request, delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.

Before you delete: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Wuvly Premium subscription. Cancel it first in the Google Play Store: open Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Wuvly, Cancel.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Purchase records: payments are handled by Google Play, which keeps its own records under Google's policies. We keep a record of your subscription status only as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
  • Crash reports and analytics: technical data without your name or messages, kept for up to 90 days (crash reports) and up to 14 months (analytics).
  • Deletion request: your email address and the date of your request, kept for up to 90 days so we can confirm the deletion and answer questions.

Delete some data without deleting your account

  • Unsend a message to remove it for both of you.
  • Delete photos or entries from your journal.
  • Turn off location and battery sharing in Settings, Privacy.
  • Unpair from your partner: your shared data is hidden at once and deleted after 30 days unless you both re-pair.
  • For anything else, email creaeza7@gmail.com and tell us what to delete.
