01Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Creaeza LLC (“Creaeza”, “we”, “us”) for the Semora: Uni Life Assistant app and related services (“Semora”). By creating an account or using Semora, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Semora.

02Who can use Semora

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Semora is for students’ personal, non-commercial use.

03Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep your sign-in details safe.
  • One person per account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at contact@creaeza.com if you think someone else has used it.

04What Semora does

Semora helps you organise your semester (timetable, attendance, deadlines and grades) and study (the AI Study Guide, quiz practice, learning resources and Uni Hacks). It works offline and syncs when you’re signed in and online.

We keep improving Semora, so features may change, and we may add or remove some. We work to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

05Free and Premium

Semora is free to use, with limits: currently 3 AI Study Guide questions (in any of its languages), 10 Uni Hacks views or searches, and a semester GPA, with as many courses as you take. Free accounts can also try Premium features: one document import, one practice quiz, one past-paper analysis, one catch-up summary and one material summary, and a one-day preview of the finals study schedule, CGPA and target tracking, CLO mode and the full recovery plan. Premium removes these limits. The app shows what’s included before you buy.

We sometimes offer promo codes for a discount on Premium. A code works only while it’s active and within its limits, applies only through Google Play, and after the discounted period your subscription renews at the normal price unless you cancel. To keep Semora fast for everyone, AI features have a daily fair-use limit, including on Premium. If we change what Premium includes, we’ll tell you first, and the change applies from your next billing period.

06Subscriptions and billing

  • Premium is a monthly subscription sold through Google Play. Google Play shows the price in your currency, including any taxes, before you buy.
  • Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Google Play handles payments, renewals and refunds under its own terms and refund policies. We never see your card details.
  • If the price changes, Google Play tells you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • Deleting your Semora account doesn’t cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play first.
  • Free Premium days from referrals or promotions have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and end on the date shown in the app.

07Referrals

When a friend signs up with your referral code, you both get 7 days of Premium, and rewards add up. Each new account can be referred once. Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts and spam aren’t allowed, and we may hold back or reverse rewards that break these rules. We may change or end the referral program at any time.

08AI features and academic integrity

  • Semora’s AI features, including the Study Guide, assignment help, lab code assist, quiz practice, past-paper analysis, catch-up plans, document import and Assignment Studio, use models provided by Anthropic.
  • The AI helps you learn. It explains, structures and gives feedback; it isn’t designed to produce work for you to hand in. You’re responsible for following your university’s academic integrity rules, including its rules on AI, and for the work you submit.
  • AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information against your course materials, your teachers and official sources. Semora doesn’t give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
  • “Write in your voice” helps examples sound natural to you. It isn’t a way to disguise AI-generated work, and we make no claims about AI-detection tools.
  • Assignment Studio is a Premium beta that we open to students by request, at our discretion, and can close or change at any time. It reads your brief, plans sections, gives feedback on what you write, suggests grammar and clarity fixes to your own sentences, formats your references and exports your document. It doesn’t write your assignment. The work you submit, and whether it follows your university’s rules, remains your responsibility.
  • Don’t use the AI to create content that’s illegal, harmful, hateful or sexually explicit, that infringes someone’s rights, or that tries to get around safety measures. We may decline or limit requests.
  • If an AI response seems offensive or harmful, report it to us from the app or at contact@creaeza.com.

09Your content

You own what you add to Semora: your semester, notes, files and questions. You give Creaeza a limited licence to store, copy, process and transmit that content only to run Semora for you, for example to sync it, to read a document you import, or to send your question to our AI provider. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies that expire on schedule.

Only upload material you’re allowed to use. Course materials often belong to your university or teachers, so keep them for your own study and don’t use Semora to share them.

10Acceptable use

When you use Semora, please don’t:

  • break the law or help anyone else break it;
  • harass, threaten or harm other people;
  • upload malware or anything designed to damage or overload our systems;
  • try to reach other people’s data, or get around security, usage limits or payments;
  • copy, reverse engineer or scrape Semora, except where the law allows it;
  • resell Semora, or use it commercially without our written permission;
  • pretend to be someone else, or send spam through Big Project Requests.

11Big Project Requests

Big Project Request lets you ask Creaeza’s team for help with a large piece of work, such as a final-year project. Sending a request doesn’t commit you or us to anything. If we agree to help, the scope, price and timeline are agreed separately and in writing, and that agreement governs the work. Premium members get a priority reply.

Our help is guidance. You remain responsible for your own work and for your university’s rules. Please don’t include other people’s personal data, or confidential information you’re not allowed to share.

12Learning resources and YouTube

Semora’s learning resources use YouTube API Services. By using Semora, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos and channels belong to their creators, and we don’t control their content. Uni Hacks and our curated channel library are general information, not professional advice.

Semora also links to services such as Google Play and Google Sign-In, which have their own terms.

13Semora’s content and brand

Semora, including its design, code, Uni Hacks, curated library and branding, belongs to Creaeza or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, which we can revoke, to use the app for your own study under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

14Ending your use

You can stop using Semora at any time and delete your account in the app (Me → Account & data → Delete account) or by email.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts other people or Semora at risk, and we’ll tell you why when it’s reasonable to do so. If we close your account when you haven’t broken these Terms, we’ll refund the unused part of your current paid period where Google Play allows it. If we ever shut Semora down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your data.

15Disclaimers

Semora is provided “as is” and “as available”. It can’t guarantee your grades or academic results. Attendance projections, GPA and CGPA calculations and study plans are estimates based on what you enter, so always check your university’s official records and rules. Reminders depend on your phone’s settings, such as battery optimisation and notification permissions, so don’t rely on Semora as your only reminder for important deadlines.

To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Creaeza isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, grades, opportunities or profits. Our total liability for any claim about Semora is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Semora in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal claim, please email contact@creaeza.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts where the law allows.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. For significant changes, we’ll tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Semora after that, the new Terms apply; if you don’t agree with them, stop using Semora and delete your account.

19General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Semora. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up. You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms, but we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We’ll send notices to the email address on your account.
