Account Deletion

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Once your account is deleted, all personal data associated with it is immediately and irrecoverably removed from our servers. There is no grace period, no backup, and no way to restore your tasks, routines, streaks, or any other content.

🗂️ 1. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your TinyOrbit account, the following data is permanently erased from our servers within seconds of your request being processed:

  • Your authentication record (email, hashed password, OAuth links)
  • Your profile (name, avatar, display preferences)
  • All tasks, tags, and priority settings
  • All routines and their schedules
  • Daily check-in responses and mood entries
  • Focus timer sessions and duration logs
  • Voice-capture transcripts (Pro feature)
  • Body-doubling and accountability partner records
  • Sleep and medication tracking entries
  • AI Coach conversation history
  • All device-local app data (AsyncStorage)
  • Google sign-in session token
⚠️ What may be retained
  • Anonymised aggregate statistics — no personal identifiers, used only for product analytics
  • RevenueCat billing records — retained up to 7 years per applicable financial regulations; see §5 for subscription cancellation
  • Sentry crash reports — anonymised; auto-purged by Sentry per their 90-day retention policy (no action needed)
  • Legal hold data — only if required by law enforcement or court order; you will be notified where legally permitted

📱 2. Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app. You must be signed in to proceed.

    Open TinyOrbit Launch the app on your iOS or Android device. Make sure you are signed in.

    Go to Settings Tap the gear icon in the bottom navigation bar or the top-right corner of the home screen.

    Open Account section Scroll down to the "Account" card and tap it to expand account management options.

    Tap "Delete Account" You will see a red "Delete Account" option at the bottom of the Account section.

    Confirm the deletion A confirmation dialog will appear summarising what will be permanently erased. Tap "Delete Forever" to proceed. This action cannot be cancelled after confirmation.

    Done — you are signed out automatically Your account is deleted, all local data is wiped, and the app returns to the welcome screen. No further action is needed on your part in the app.

If you are unable to access the app (lost your device, forgotten your password, or your account is locked), fill in the form below and we will process your verified request within 30 days as required by GDPR, CCPA, and India's DPDP Act 2023.

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days. For requests from EEA, UK, or California residents, we are legally obligated to respond within 30 days and may extend once by a further 60 days for complex requests, with notice.

💳 4. Important: Cancel Your Subscription Separately

Deleting your account does NOT cancel your subscription

Your TinyOrbit Pro subscription is billed through Apple App Store or Google Play — not through TinyOrbit directly. Deleting your account stops your access but does not stop future charges. You must cancel your subscription independently to stop billing.

🍎 Cancel on iPhone / iPad (App Store)

    Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the Settings app.

    Tap Subscriptions Find and tap the TinyOrbit subscription in the list.
    Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → TinyOrbit

    Tap "Cancel Subscription" Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then stops. Apple does not issue pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time.

🤖 Cancel on Android (Google Play)

    Open Google Play Store Tap your profile picture → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions".

    Find TinyOrbit and tap "Cancel subscription" Your access continues until the end of the billing cycle.

🔄 5. Alternatives to Deletion

Before permanently deleting your account, consider these options:

Downgrade to Free

Cancel your Pro subscription and continue using TinyOrbit's free tier. Your data is preserved and you can re-subscribe any time.

Turn off notifications

If notification overload is the issue, go to Settings → Notifications to disable all reminders without losing your data.

Unlink Google account

If you are concerned about Google data sharing, you can add an email/password login and disconnect Google sign-in in Settings → Account → Login Methods.

Export your data first

You have the right to request a copy of all data we hold about you before deleting. Email contact@creaeza.com with "Data Export Request".

⚙️ 6. What Happens Under the Hood

For transparency, here is the exact sequence of events when you tap "Delete Forever" in the app:

    Secure API call to our deletion service The app sends a signed request to our delete-user Edge Function using your session token. No data travels unencrypted.
  2. 2
    Server-side hard delete The function uses a privileged service key to permanently remove your authentication record and profile row from the database. Cascade rules delete all related rows (tasks, routines, check-ins, etc.) in the same transaction.
  3. 3
    Google sign-out If you signed in with Google, the native Google Sign-In session is revoked on your device.
  4. 4
    Supabase session cleared Your local Supabase authentication token and session cookie are wiped.
  5. 5
    All local app data erased The entire device-local data store (AsyncStorage) is cleared — tasks, settings, preferences, notification IDs, cached content — everything stored locally is gone.
  6. 6
    App resets to welcome screen The app navigates to the unauthenticated welcome screen. You are completely signed out and your data is gone.

Depending on where you live, you have additional rights regarding your personal data:

We honour all verified deletion requests regardless of jurisdiction. You do not need to cite a specific law — simply request deletion and we will comply.

We will not penalise you, restrict your access, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised your data rights, including the right to deletion.
